Most people in America have at least one pet. Pets are a part of the family in many homes. The two most popular pets in America are the cat and the dog. For people who have dogs for pets, they know the feeling of being loved when they walk into the house. Dogs are always happy when their owner walks in the front door. Unlike cats, dogs will play with their owner until the owner gets tired. That is why people have dogs. Some dogs are so intelligent that they seem to know what the owner is telling them to do. So what happens when a dog becomes sick? Most people will wait a couple of days to see if the dog gets better. If they still seem sick, then people make an appointment with the vet that cares for their dog. In most cases it’s something that is treatable and the vet sends the dog home with a prescription. But what if the vet says that it’s serious and that bad dog food contamination is the reason for the dog having kidney failure?

People try to take care of their dogs while inadvertently slowly killing them. Finally, don’t despair about the situation. If the illness was caused by dog food contamination, it’s not the owners fault. While the owner will grieve for the circumstances of the dog’s death, there was no way to know that the food was bad. No amount of money will bring the dog back. Instead, remember all of the good times that one had together and smile. The future just might hold a little puppy!
