Shar Pei owners, please tell me your personal experience?

What has your experience been with your Shar Pei?

If you could, please include the personality of your dog, how easily you trained it, and the medical conditions you've had to treat him or her for.

I'd image you won't get a lot of answers on here as Shar Pei's are pretty uncommon. I would suggest talking to some shar pei breeders, and some of their customers. Also, you could check out these Yahoo groups:
