Where to Go For Shar Pei Training Advice
Shar Peis are wonderful dogs and make great family pets, as long as they are trained properly. You should always avoid using too stern a voice when training your Shar Pei, because they do not respond well to this, but rather to positive reinforcement. Shar Peis are wonderful dogs but to ensure that they know you are in charge and so they do not try to run the household, you are going to need to make sure that they are well trained.

Shar Pies are just like any other dog but i know there a little slow so when training them hold there fave treat in your hand to make them sit roll over and go through mazes or use a clicker

If you plan on bathing him, make sure you dry even wrinkle COMPLETELY. I can't stress that enough. If they don't dry all the way, bacteria can form in the wrinkles and make the dog extremely sick.

My neighbor use to have one it was the cutest thing. It was awesome with people but it was very agressive with cats. If i were you i would get a pug or a bulldog. (if u want them cuz there adorable wrinkles) : -)

My friends have one, so cute. Love those wrinkles. They used the standard method of house training. Take him outside frequently, lots of praise and treats when he does his "business" outdoors. Strong reprimand if you catch indoor potty. They do have a lot of skin problems because of the folds but they are sweet dogs and so darn cute.
